We have all been receiving so much information in the last week, but if you are going to read one thing, please review the following as compliance is so important to the future of our club.

We will be enforcing the following social distancing policies, any member not following these instructions will be asked to leave the course and further disciplinary action may be required. We do not want golf to be another “Bondi Beach” scenario and this is for the protection of all golf courses in Australia and your own personal safety.

Social distancing

* Only one player per cart – exception to this rule is if you share a bed, you can share a cart.
* Players must keep at least 1.5 metres away from all other people at all times
* No congregating in groups of more than 10 people at any time, whilst also applying the 1.5 metre rule
* Good hygiene is key, please wash your hands and then use our hand sanitiser before entering the pro-shop
* Only arrive at the Golf Course no earlier than 15 minutes before your tee-time, please leave the premises upon conclusion of your game
* If playing in a comp, do not hand your card to another person, place it in the box and it will be entered by a trained staff member.
* You may bring your own food and non-alcoholic drinks to the course, any person found to have brought their own alcohol onto the course will be in breach of liquor licencing requirements and will be asked to leave the course immediately and face further disciplinary action – no excuses.
* All members and guests must book a tee time for competitions AND social play to avoid overcrowding and to avoid disappointment. A player must not book any more than one tee time only.

Travel advice

Have you traveled recently or been in contact with someone who has returned from overseas in the last 14 days?
* Any person who has arrived home from overseas or been in contact with someone who has arrived home from overseas in the past 14 days must not visit our golf course. This includes picking a person up from the airport. Any member found breaking this rule, will face disciplinary action.

Playing Conditions Update

* The R&A has advised that a temporary rule is available allowing for Preferred Lie in bunkers . This is preferable to taking them out of play so that will be applied from now until further notice. This will be shown on the scorecard as a reminder.
* All NTPs will be abandoned until normal playing conditions can be restored after the COVID19 situation has resolved.
* Flagsticks will not be in place from now until further notice and a hole location sheet will be available when registering at the Proshop, please take a photo if possible.
* We will be abandoning all 2 Tee starts, Saturday timesheets for 28th March will be open for re-booking from 6pm tonight and Saturday 4th April will open at 6pm next Thursday 2nd April.

We apologise for the number of changes to conditions that we need to keep making but it is all in the cause of keeping us all on the course. As information is changing so rapidly we will endeavour to keep you all updated via our website and facebook. Where possible, urgent notifications will be sent via email and SMS.

Thank you for your cooperation
