Good afternoon everyone,

As I am sure you have all heard, the Qld Government has imposed a lockdown of the Greater Brisbane Region from 6pm today to 6pm Monday.

Our golf course will remain open at this stage over the weekend and into Monday. All members that reside in the Greater Brisbane Region will not be allowed to visit the golf club during the lockdown period.

This is a good opportunity to remind our members to remain vigilant and do not visit the golf club if you are experiencing any symptoms or have visited a COVID 19 hotspot in the past 14 days. If you are experiencing symptoms, remember to self isolate and get tested.

The Federal Government has declared Greater Brisbane a COVID 19 hotspot in the last couple of hours. Some media outlets are advising that anyone that has visited Brisbane since 2 January will also need to adhere to the 3 day lockdown. This has not been confirmed by the Qld Government as yet, if you have been in Brisbane and are asked to self isolate, please do not visit the golf club during the lockdown period.

I expect further announcements from the Qld Government over the weekend and we will endeavour to communicate any that impact on our operations to our members as soon as possible. If you have any concerns, please don’t hesitate in contacting us.

Fingers crossed for a positive outcome over the weekend.

Take care
